| I see that the url for each topic page takes the name of the topic subject. I made this topic to test if there is a problem when one includes special characters in the topic subject, that could mess the url. | |

This behaviour is not part of the standard forum setup, but is a result of a custom implementation which is described at
Cookbook:ISO8859MakePageNamePatterns
This will 'translate' special characters to a simpler form for the page name, avoiding difficult to read url code. The typed topic name will apear unchanged as topic title, but you can see the difference in the browsers url bar.
